Damian Priest Discusses WWE Money In The Bank Cash-In Plans WWE

Despite tensions within his Judgment Day faction, Mr Money in the Bank Damian Priest seems laser-focused on cashing in his briefcase and capturing gold.

While most would expect Priest to target Seth ‘Freakin’ Rollins and the World Heavyweight Championship given their ongoing on-screen rivalry, the punishment of the Judgment Day may have other plans.

Speaking on WWE The Bump, Priest stated that he’s keeping his options open despite his run-ins with Rollins, issuing a warning to any champion throughout WWE.

Priest said:

“The moment I grabbed this, even when I was standing on the ladder, the only vision I had, it was almost like pictures in my brain of all the championships. I had them all in mind.

“Seth Rollins, it just so happens he’s involved with Judgment Day business.

“He was wrestling Finn Balor, then he had a match with Dominik, so obviously it’s right there in front of me and so I see it, but it doesn’t mean that he’s my only target. Not by a long shot.”

As for when exactly he plans to cash-in, it seems as if Priest doesn’t intend to conduct his business honorably, instead carrying on MITB tradition of waiting for the most opportune time to strike a fallen champion.

Priest continued:

“I’m not going to cash in this contract in a respectful way.

“I’m going to wait until my opponent’s beaten, battered, useless. That’s when I’ll cash in.

“So for all the champions, when you’re down and out and you think things can’t get worse, I’ll be seeing you.”

While Priest didn’t give away his exact intentions, it seems as if no champion is indeed safe while he holds that contract.

Last year’s contract winner Austin Theory notably used his Money in the Bank briefcase to get a shot at the US Championship, indicating that the contract can be used on any title, not just world titles.

Despite some trouble within Judgment Days ranks lately, primarily between Priest and Finn Balor, the group looked fairly united at the conclusion of this week’s Raw.

The timing of their reconciliation couldn’t be better as they prepare for an appearance on this week’s NXT, for the latest on Judgment Day’s plans check out this link here.
