Date For The Rock Next WWE Match Revealed After WrestleMania 40?

The date of The Rock’s next WWE match has potentially been revealed following his in-ring return at WrestleMania 40.

The Rock made his return to the ring at last night’s WrestleMania 40 night one event, where he and Roman Reigns defeated Seth Rollins and Cody Rhodes in the show’s main event.

With Rock now a part of the TKO board, there is a lot of speculation about his future in the ring, and we may have more of idea of when the ‘Final Boss’ may return to the ring.

Speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer noted that Rock will be unlikely for SummerSlam, and will potentially be back in the ring at the Saudi Arabia show in November.

He said:

“He is not scoring the pin in this match if it’s the last match of his career.

“SummerSlam, I don’t want to rule it out but I know the film schedule and it would be pretty damn difficult, not impossible, but pretty damn difficult.

“What I think it might be is the second Saudi show of the year, the one that’s usually in early November, I could see that timing wise where that would be him and Cody and then him and Roman at WrestleMania.”
