Dave Meltzer Revealed As Playable Character In New Video Game

Dave Meltzer has been revealed as a playable character in a new video game.

Despite an increase in the number of individuals in the wrestling media field, there is no journalist more known than Dave Meltzer.

From the world famous Wrestling Observer Newsletter and his often-debated star ratings to his podcast rants that cause uproars, “Uncle Dave” has become as synonymous with the wrestling business than a lot of the in-ring performers.

With that in mind, it shouldn’t be a surprise that Meltzer would be featured in a game based on the genre.

Dave Meltzer, along with fellow Wrestling Observer colleagues Bryan Alvarez and Big Vinny V, will be playable characters on the WrestleQuest game.

This game also seems to feature characters based on legendary wrestlers, such as Macho Man Randy Savage, Andre The Giant, Jake “The Snake” Roberts, Sgt. Slaughter and the Road Warriors.

The game will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, PC, and Netflix (for all subscribers) on August 8.
