Dominik Mysterio Teases Issues With Ex-WWE Star Reportedly Set For Return

WWE help it’s first premium live event in Puerto Rico in 18 years back in March, when WWE brought Backlash to San Juan.

The show saw a surprise appearance from former WWE star Carlito, who received a hero’s welcome in Puerto Rico.

Following his appearance, there has been a lot of speculation about Carlito potentially returning to the company, with him reportedly set to make his return on tonight’s (July 7) episode of SmackDown in Madison Square Garden.

Carlito came to the aid of Bad Bunny against Damian Priest of the Judgment Day, and his issues with the group may not be over yet.

Speaking to the Metro, Dominik Mysterio was asked about a potential match with Carlito following Backlash.

He responded:

“For sure, that’s definitely an interesting match. I know he’s had some history with my dad from back in the day, but for his sake I hope he doesn’t. He’s gonna have a problem with the Judgment Day and we’re gonna stomp him out. He put his business in our business, and that just doesn’t happen.”

There has been a lot of tensions within the Judgment Day in recent weeks, especially following Damian Priest’s Money In The Bank victory last weekend.
