Dave Meltzer noted during Wrestling Observer Radio today that Don Callis has been removed as “IMPACT Executive” from IMPACT’s website.
It’s unknown at this time whether this is legitimate or part of an angle, and they did have Scott D’Amore tease it on TV recently.
It was mentioned that many people in IMPACT had expected Don Callis would join AEW for a full-time on-screen role there.
Wrestling Inc had reported in December that they’d heard Callis’ IMPACT contract would be expiring soon at that point, which could be related.
We’ll keep you posted as any further updates come to light.
