Don Callis Announced For Role In Major Upcoming Kenny Omega Match

Kenny Omega and AAA star El Hijo Del Vikingo finally took part in their long-awaited dream match on AEW Dynamite earlier this year.

Following Omega’s win, the two are set for a rematch for Vikingo’s AAA Mega Championship at this Saturday (July 15) at AAA TripleMania Tijuana.

AAA today shared a video from backstage at this week’s Dynamite show, where Tony Schiavone caught Don Callis leaving Vikingo’s locker room, before saying that he will be at TripleMania to accompany Vikingo against Omega.

He said:

“I’m having a meeting because as has been well publicized, since betraying me in the way that he did, Kenny Omega is now 0-4 in big matches without Don Callis, that probably tells you a little something.  So, as much as I’m not interested to descend on the country of Mexico, I’ll make a special exception right now because I just gave El Hijo del Vikingo the secret sauce to make Kenny Omega go 0-5.”

Reacting to his upcoming appearance on Twitter, Callis added:
