Drew McIntyre Backstage Incident Update After WWE Raw

After a backstage incident involving Drew McIntyre at Survivor Series, an update has now emerged following WWE Raw.

McIntyre reportedly “stormed out” of the building after the men’s WarGames match at Survivor Series and was legitimately angry/upset.

Fightful reported that the reasons were “broader than” CM Punk’s return, but even though he left before Punk came out, McIntyre would have known as the talents in the match were informed it’d be happening.

The next night, McIntyre appeared at a WWE live event and referenced that people had read “some things on the internet” about him from the night prior.

McIntyre was present again for Raw last night, during which he challenged Seth Rollins to a World Heavyweight Championship match, only to find out Jey Uso would be getting a title shot instead.

Regarding McIntyre’s status, PWInsider reported that he was in “good spirits” at Raw.

It was noted that whatever issue there was after Survivor Series, it seemed to have “dissipated”.

McIntyre is set for a match against Sami Zayn on Raw next week.
