Drew McIntyre Responds To New CM Punk Troll Attempt WWE

Former three-time WWE World Champion Drew McIntyre has responded to the new CM Punk troll attempt following WrestleMania 40.

At WWE Royal Rumble 2024, CM Punk competed in his first match for the company in nearly a decade in the Men’s Rumble Match. However, Punk suffered a torn triceps injury that has kept him out of action since.

Drew McIntyre, the man who caused the injury, has since been trolling Punk with social media posts and merchandise centered around mocking his rival for his injury.

To get a measure of revenge, Punk cost McIntyre the World Heavyweight Championship when he helped Damian Priest cash in the Money In The Bank contract to win the title at WrestleMania 40.

WWE released a new t-shirt from CM Punk playing off of McIntyre’s previous troll shirt about him. The shirt sees Punk making a peace sign at a grave that reads: “Drew McIntyre WrestleMania XL 2024-2024.”

In a quote tweet for a post promoting the new shirt, Drew McIntyre took to social media to mock CM Punk for his previous comment which the shirt contradicts. He wrote:

“I ain’t never had to put another man’s name on a shirt to sell it”

CM Punk further got more revenge on Drew McIntyre by costing him a Fatal Four Way #1 Contenders Match to Jey Uso on the April 8 Raw After WrestleMania 40.

Uso will challenge Damian Priest for the World Heavyweight Championship on May 4 at WWE Backlash.
