Ex-WWE Star Recalls Hilarious Story In Birthday Message To Former Champion WWE

An ex-WWE star has shared a happy birthday message to his former colleague, recalling a hilarious locker room story from a previous WWE international tour.

Taking to Twitter, Dean Muhtadi (FKA Mojo Rawley) sent a special message to his fellow WWE alumni Samuray Del Sol (FKA Kalisto).

However, in doing so Muhtadi would also recall the true story of a time that the WWE locker room decided to celebrate Del Sol’s birthday whilst on tour.

Unfortunately this nice gesture would backfire when Muhtadi and the rest of the locker room forgot to get Del Sol from his hotel for his own birthday celebrations.

Muhtadi tweeted:

One time on an international tour with WWE, we rallied the entire locker room to go out and celebrate the birthday of @gloat.

The only problem? We actually forgot #Kalisto at the hotel and had to party the entire night in his honor without him. True story.

Happy Birthday my friend! Tweeting this 43 min after your birthday to keep with the tradition!

Muhatdi and Del Sol’s WWE careers ran mostly in parallel with each other, with Muhtadi joining the company in 2012 and Del Sol a year later in 2013.

Unfortunately both Muhtadi and Del Sol would be released from the company in April 2021.

Muhtadi has not returned to wrestling since, instead starting up a talent agency known as Paragon Talent Group.

Del Sol on the other hand has continued to pursue wrestling outside WWE, competing for promotions such as CMLL, IMPACT Wrestling and even a one-off match in AEW in November 2021.
