Former Raw Star Set For Match On NXT

Former Raw Star Set For Match On NXT

WWE has taken to its website and social media to confirm a new match for this Tuesday’s edition of NXT on the USA Network.

The new match will see Bronson Reed take on the returning former Raw star Austin Theory.

WWE.com writes:

Austin Theory interfered in Bronson Reed’s bout against Timothy Thatcher on NXT Super Tuesday, causing The Aus-zilla to demand a match versus Theory. Reed will get his wish this Tuesday on USA Network.

The animosity between Reed and Theory started on the Aug. 26 edition of NXT, when Theory mocked The Thicc Boi’s defeat at NXT TakeOver XXX, earning a slap for his efforts.

Theory got the better of Reed this past Tuesday when he attacked The Aus-zilla from behind, but will he come to regret the attack? Find out on NXT Super Tuesday II on USA Network at 8/7 C.

Theory had been absent from WWE TV since June after allegations were made against him during the #SpeakingOut movement. Prior to that he had been moved to the Raw brand in April. Last week, he attacked Reed from behind to cost him his match against Timothy Thatcher to build to Tuesday’s bout.

Also set for Tuesday’s show is the title match between Adam Cole and Finn Balor after they finished with tied scorelines in last week’s four-way ironman match.
