Former WWE Tough Enough contestant AJ Kirsch has shot his shot, publicly campaigning to join the Raw commentary team.
This comes just hours after WWE announced the release of Raw commentator Adnan Virk. Kirsch tweeted his broadcaster reel at WWE and later Triple H and Michael Cole as well.
He also added that he respectfully suggests the company hires someone who knows how to call professional wrestling. Considering Virk’s limited experience calling pro wrestling, this would appear to be a (respectful) shot at the company. Kirsch said:
With @adnansvirk and @WWE parting ways, there appears to be an opportunity to join the commentary team.
Once again, I’m just going to leave this here and respectfully suggest they hire someone who knows how to call professional wrestling.https://t.co/VWeIMKmq5g
