Former Writer Pokes Fun At WWE After Recent Departure

Former WWE writer RD Evans quit the company during the WWE Hall of Fame ceremony after it was reported that Vince McMahon was furious that he was mentioned in Bret Hart’s induction speech, which Evans produced.

Evans, who has now changed his Twitter name to “R.D. “Quitman” Evans”, possibly a reference to the fact that he quit the company during Bret “The Hitman” Hart’s induction speech, has shared a parody video to his Twitter where he pokes fun at his former employers.

In the scene, Evans said that WWE could “regret this” as he was pretty good at his job, evidenced by the fact that he “wrote that one Baron Corbin promo that was OK”. Evans also comically bleeped out Vince McMahon’s name every time it was said during the video, obviously a jab at Vince for not wanting his name mentioned during the Hall of Fame.

In the video, Evans would also mention Road Dogg, who also stepped down from his role on WWE’s creative team during WrestleMania season.
