A former WWE star is reportedly set to become a free agent on January 1, 2024 after not reaching a contract extension.
Deonna Purrazzo has made herself one of the top stars in women’s wrestling in recent years following her WWE departure back in 2020, most notably in IMPACT Wrestling.
Deonna has been one of IMPACT’s top stars in the Knockouts Division over the past few years, but her time in the company is set to come to an end.
Per Fightful Select (subscription required), Deonna’s IMPACT contract is set to expire at the end of 2023, with her set to become a free agent at the start of 2024.
In a follow up, Fightful learned that Purrazzo plans on exploring free agency, and no deal with IMPACT has been reached for an extension.
There were some within IMPCAT that believed Deonna was set to stay with the company due to her being featured on TNA Wrestling graphics ahead of the company’s relaunch in January.
However, Fightful was told that her last dates are set to be the IMPACT Final Resolution tapings in Canada this weekend.
Those within the company have claimed that things have been amicable between Purrazzo and IMPACT, with the door being open for her to reach a deal for a return, but as of now she is set to explore her options.
