During his time working for WrestleTalk.com he has written and published over 4,000 news and feature articles covering events and happenings from WWE, AEW, TNA and a variety of international and independent wrestling promotions.

Former WWE star Raj Dhesi (Jinder Mahal) has named Bron Breakker, Kurt Angle and AEW’s Shelton Benjamin among a list of the best athletes he’s shared a ring with in his career.

It has now been just over two years since Jinder Mahal was released from his contract, bringing an end to his second spell in the company.

While he has since returned to the independent scene under the name Raj Dhesi, the 39-year-old shared the ring with a who’s who of WWE across his career, including several Hall of Famers and former champions.

In a video uploaded to his Instagram, Dhesi broke down the five best athletes that he has first-hand experience with inside a WWE ring.

Listing WWE Hall of Famers, AEW stars and a potential future WWE World Champion, Dhesi broke down his ranking:

“Kurt Angle, Olympic gold medalist with a broken freaking neck. Need I say more?

“World’s Strongest Man Mark Henry. There’s actually a video of him online doing a slam dunk. At that much body mass, with that high of a vertical jump. Crazy, crazy athlete.

“Ricochet. Insane high flying ability. Precision, flexibility, nimbleness. Freak athlete.

“Shelton Benjamin. The Benjamin Button of pro wrestling. Reverse ages, I’ve been watching him for 20 years. I grew up watching Shelton Benjamin, as crazy as that sounds. I believe I was in high school when he debuted. He has the fountain of youth. Insane athlete.

“Someone from the new generation: Bron Breakker. Insane genetics. Crazy strength. Very, very disciplined. Very motivated young man.”

Bron Breakker Facing Stiff Competition In His Ascent To The Top In WWE

Since the very first time he appeared on WWE NXT TV it has been clear that Bron Breakker was heading to the top of the company.

This September will mark the five-year anniversary of his WWE debut, and in that time Breakker has ticked off many of the boxes that those before him have on their way to becoming world champions in WWE.

Two-time NXT Champion and two-time Intercontinental Champion; Breakker’s next step seems to be finally capturing his first world championship.

In January, on the first WWE Raw of 2026, Breakker unsuccessfully challenged CM Punk for the World Heavyweight Championship. Despite this setback, many fans fancied him to go on and get his win back against the “Best in the World” potentially by way of winning the 2026 Men’s Royal Rumble.

Despite at one point being planned to do just that, Breakker was instead swiftly eliminated by Oba Femi, before suffering a hernia that would see a planned WrestleMania match with Seth Rollins collapse.

While Breakker defeated Rollins in his return match at WWE Backlash, it doesn’t quite seem as sure a thing that he will in fact win his first world championship in 2026, especially with fellow NXT alum Oba Femi now taking the title of WWE’s “Next Big Thing.”

While both can, and will have massive success in the company, Breakker may potentially have to wait to have his run at the top after “The Ruler” has already captured the top prize in WWE from Roman Reigns.
