Former WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion Lash Legend has addressed the possibility of her pursuing singles gold following Saturday Night’s Main Event.

Legend and Nia Jax will challenge for Paige and Brie Bella’s gold at the May 23 special, following the current champions winning the gold from Legend and Jax in a four-way bout at WrestleMania 42.

Ahead of this match MuscleManMalcolm for The Sportster asked Legend if she has interest in becoming a Women’s US, Women’s Intercontinental, or Women’s World champion.

Hopeful for the possibility to become a double champion, Legend responded:

” I mean, right now, obviously at hand we have Saturday Night’s Main Event, so we’re going after those tag team titles.

“I feel like that’s my priority right now, but I feel like in my career in general, of course I have goals of wanting to accomplish so, so much. Hopefully it’s with my girl Nia right by my side.

“We can both have our individual gold, and hold tag-team gold. That’s the fairy tale dream of course, but it’s definitely possible. I have a lot of goals and things I do want to accomplish, together with Nia and then even later on.”

This interview was recorded before SmackDown, where Lash Legend answered Women’s US Champion Tiffany Stratton’s open challenge, and lost following Chelsea Green’s interference.

We got a taste of Lash Legend’s singles dominance in January’s Royal Rumble match, with Legend eliminating fellow rising star Jordynne Grace, as well as former women’s champions Charlotte Flair and IYO SKY, and Hall of Famers Nikki & Brie Bella.

Legend also expressed gratitude for Triple H’s trust in her. The company appears to be preparing Legend for a big singles push, we’ll have to wait and see how her career progresses moving forward.
