WWE NXT announcer Vic Joseph has responded to praise from his commentary partner Booker T, with the Hall of Famer giving Joseph a shout-out in a recent interview.

Joseph and Booker T have been working alongside one another on the NXT brand since october 2022, although their partnership wasn’t originally intended to last this long.

Recently speaking on the No-Contest Wrestling Podcast, Booker T revealed that he was originally only set to fill in as a commentator on NXT for three months.

Discussing his current role, Booker T praised Vic Joseph, noting that Joseph has made that job so easy for him over the years.

Vic Joseph responded to Booker T’s comments on Twitter, stating that the Hall of Famer is the best broadcast partner he’s ever had.

With the likes of Michael Cole, Wade Barrett, Corey Graves and even Pat McAfee experiencing changes to their roles or brands over the past few years, Joseph and Booker T meanwhile have remained together for the most part, allowing them to build upon their already strong chemistry.

Booker T is happy in his current role, also noting on No-Contest Wrestling that WWE has done nothing but right by him for the decades he has been with the company.

Having seen the likes of his Reality of Wrestling student Roxanne Perez join and leave NXT, it will be interesting to see how many more careers Booker T will impact before he steps away from the wrestling business for good.
