He added:

“When I realised, I was watching Razor Ramon get inducted into the Hall of Fame, I think it was the same one as my dad. They’re showing the package and I’m like ‘ah, I see’.

“People used to say ‘he’s a Razor Ramon ripoff’ and I didn’t really get it, then I looked at that and was like ‘ah ok, now I see it’. It’s almost the exact same thing.

“(Him spitting apples) was the Razor Ramon thing. In one of them he grabbed, I forget what he grabbed, and he spat it at somebody. In my version I was at a food stand, but I grabbed an apple, and the guy who owned the food stand asked me to pay, and then I spat the apple on him instead of paying him.

“Vince loved it and said ‘I want you to keep doing that’, and that’s kind of how it came about. Who knew. It became my signature bit, people seem to love it.”
