WWE CCO Paul Levesque, also known as Triple H, has reportedly now been removed from the internal active talent list within the company.

Triple H’s last official match was at a WWE live event in Tokyo, Japan in June 2019, where he teamed with Shinsuke Nakamura in a tag team win against Bobby Roode and AJ Styles.

His last match on broadcast came at Super ShowDown 2019 in Saudi Arabia earlier that month, where he was defeated by Randy Orton.

2019 was also where his last WrestleMania took place when he defeated Batista in what was billed as Batista’s retirement match at WrestleMania 35 in MetLife Stadium.

Triple H’s ‘Unofficial’ WWE Retirement Match

In January 2021, WWE promoted a street fight between Triple H and Randy Orton on Raw, but the bell never actually rang for that to be considered an official match – they did brawl for a few minutes before the ‘street fight’ came to no official conclusion as the lights went out and Triple H essentially vanished while Alexa Bliss appeared and took out Orton with a blast of fire since this was when Orton was feuding with Bliss and Bray Wyatt.

At WrestleMania 38 in 2022, almost three years after the Tokyo match, Triple H officially announced his in-ring retirement, which came just before he was officially moved into his Chief Content Officer role and after he suffered what was described at the time as a cardiac event.

Despite his last official match coming almost seven years ago and his retirement announcement coming over four years ago, PWInsider Elite reports that HHH was only removed from the internal WWE active talent list earlier this month – May 2026.

Prior to this month, he was still listed on the ‘Misc’ list of active talents within WWE, which is generally where injured or inactive talents are listed if they’re not currently performing on a specific brand.

Last month, he signed a new multi-year deal with WWE to remain the company’s Chief Content Officer.
