Former WWE star Chris Masters has discussed his hope to get signed as a free agent by WWE, AEW or TNA in the near future.
Chris Masters was introduced to most wrestling fans when he debuted for WWE back in 2005. Despite his young age, he was immediately given a push upon his arrival.
There were high hopes for Masters to become a big star, but many would agree he was too green. He would go to be released in 2007 and then rehired in 2009 before being released again in 2011.
Since then, Masters has worked for various independent promotions and later worked for TNA and NWA.
In a video posted on Instagram, Chris Masters expressed his interested in working for either WWE, AEW or TNA now that he is 40 years old. He said:
“Kinda see what’s out there for me. I have had the last couple fo years I’ve been in the NWA trying to develop myself and trying to evolve my character in every way that I possibly could, and now I’d like to bring that to whether it be AEW, Impact Wrestling, or of course, WWE.”
