Former WWE Star ‘Almost Certainly’ Not Going To Be In The Royal Rumble WWE

Former WWE star Chris Masters has announced that he will “almost certainly” not be taking part in the upcoming 2023 Men’s Royal Rumble.

Masters – currently signed to NWA under the ring name Chris Adonis – debuted in WWE in 2005, where he was given the nickname “The Masterpiece”.

During his time in WWE, Masters failed to secure any Championships, though he is a two-time NWA National Champion.

He is also the current Qatar Pro Wrestling Champion alongside Carlito.

Masters broke the news to his many fans via his personal Twitter account, where he wrote:

“Sorry to say I have not been contacted for The Rumble and will almost certainly not be taking part at this point.”

Fellow former WWE star James Ellsworth replied to Masters’ post with words of encouragement, saying:

“Man you know sometimes they be calling the week of, never give up hope!”
