WWE/TNA
Two former WWE stars have made their TNA Wrestling debut during tonight’s TNA Impact AMC Network premiere episode.
Kicking off the AMC era with a potential managerial shake-up, it seems as if TNA’s Director of Authority Santino Marella now has some competition for his job in the form of former WWE star Sonya Deville.
Making her debut on TNA Impact as “The Suit” Daria Rae, the former WWE SmackDown Assistant General Manager at first played up Santino’s legacy and importance to TNA, before tearing down the facade to verbally attack the “Milan Miracle”.
Citing her past experience in charge of the locker room in WWE, Rae made clear her intention to overthrow Santino Marella as TNA’s lead authority figure:
“I’ve been in this position before. I’ve ran locker rooms, I’ve dealt with the egos. I understand television, and most importantly I understand that I can do your job better than you can.”
In her first act of business in TNA, Rae announced that former WWE star Elayna Black (Cora Jade) was the newest addition to the TNA Knockout’s Division – marking her comeback to wrestling after a six month absence.
Elayna Black and Daria Rae’s TNA arrival can be viewed down below.
