Former WWE Wyatt Sicks Member Details Scrapped Alexa Bliss Plans: ‘It Was Talked About Twice’

A former member of the Wyatt Sicks faction has recalled the two times Alexa Bliss was pitched to join the group.

When the Wyatt Sicks made their debut on WWE Raw in June 2024, they did so during a time when Alexa Bliss was off television due to maternity leave.

Alexa would make her return to the company after two years away at the 2025 Royal Rumble, with her expected to join up with the Wyatt Sicks upon her return.

However, the pairing never ended up happening before the Wyatts were released from the company in April, but per one member of the group, Alexa was slated to join the group on two different occasions.

Joe Gacy Says Alexa Bliss Was Part Of Wyatt Sicks Meetings

Speaking to Denise Salcedo, former WWE Tag Team Champion Joe Gacy (Joseph Sawyer) revealed that Alexa had been part of meetings in regards to the group, pitching her own ideas.

He also said that the idea of her joining the group upon her return was mentioned to them in ‘the very first meeting’.

He said:

“It was talked about two times. Our very first meeting, the very first meeting at headquarters early on, they basically told us ‘we’re gonna have you guys debut, and then when Alexa is ready to come back she’ll join you guys’. That was the first thing ever said about it. I just assumed eventually she’s going to be with us.

“My whole thing was always, when she comes back, whether she’s with us or not with us, we definitely need to address it. There was no reason why we shouldn’t considering her part with Windham, Bray, and the Firefly Funhouse.

“Even if we wanted to have a lot of fun with it, the fact that she turned on Windham at WrestleMania, that was never talked about after it happened, so I felt like we could’ve done something with that.

“We could’ve had something where Nikki and Alexa wrestled each other, and they had history. There was a lot that could’ve been done there.”

‘Late Decision’ For Alexa Not To Join The Group

Gacy continued on, noting that the second time she was expected to join the group was around the time the group returned to TV on SmackDown last Summer ahead of Gacy and Dexter Lumis winning the WWE Tag Team Championship.

Gacy noted that he believes it was a ‘missed opportunity’ to not pair them up, as he would have questioned Alexa’s history not being brought up if he were watching as a fan.

He added:

“From my understanding, there was a very last minute decision for her to return, which I believe was Royal Rumble the year before. So that was a very last minute decision for her return and then I assumed that post that, we’re gonna do something.

“We did have meetings to talk about ideas and pitch ideas, she was involved in the meetings, she had some ideas she pitched on her own. I thought maybe some of that stuff would eventually happen, that was around when we came back, to me and Dexter winning the tag titles.

“I thought around that time she was going to get involved with us and then they decided to go another direction, and I just always thought it was a little silly that you have her on the show, wearing the same gear, having odes to Windham and the Wyatt Family, and sometimes we’re immediately after her coming out, and there’s no mention, no interaction, nothing. I just thought it was a huge missed opportunity and very strange.

“I try to always look at things from the fans perspective. If I was a fan I’d be like, ‘why is there nothing going on right there?’ Even if it’s as simple as a glance backstage, or an entrance, something little just to like tease something. I just don’t think that stuff is that difficult to write.

“I wish it happened but it did not.”
