A new WWE star is set to make their official in-ring debut soon with a unique character being introduced to TV.
In recent weeks on WWE Evolve, videos have been airing promoting the debut of Vanta The Unknown.
In an era where there are very few gimmick names in WWE developmental – with everyone using what can only be described as fake-sounding ‘real’ names – Vanta The Unknown already stands out.
She’s also developed an appearance different from anyone else with makeup and facepaint, as well as all-black attire.
On tonight’s episode of WWE Evolve, Vanta The Unknown’s debut drew closer, as she had a message for the rest of the female roster on the show.
She said:
“Look at you, drowning in their applause. You smile, you puff out your chest – you actually think you’re untouchable.
“While you soak in their noise, I am dissecting you. I love letting you believe you’re in control. It makes it that much sweeter when I finally harvest your panic.
“I’m going to drag you into the dark and peel away that fake confidence. I don’t want the mask you wear for them. I want the raw bleeding reality of who you are when you panic.
“I want the version of you that suffocates in The Unknown.
“Fear The Unknown.”

The Vanta The Unknown character is portrayed by Jessica Bogdanov, who joined WWE last year after the SummerSlam tryouts as a pole dancer and gymnast from Russia.
She’s been wrestling as Vanta The Unknown at untelevised NXT live events for the past couple of months, including matches against established names like Evolve Women’s Champion Nikkita Lyons and Kelani Jordan.
It’ll be interesting to see how her character translates to today’s product as she’s sure to generate plenty of talk among fans online when she does make her debut.
Hopefully she can remain unique without going in the direction of being too wacky and supernatural as WWE sometimes has a tendency to do.
