WWE Evolve Star To Join Main Roster

Evolve has established itself over the past year as the pre-NXT developmental show for WWE, streaming weekly on Tubi every Wednesday.

There are a few talents in Evolve right now who could actually skip working in NXT before making their way to the main roster if the circumstances work out.

Here are five Evolve stars who could be called up straight to the main roster.

5. Brooks Jensen

Brooks Jensen made his NXT debut all the way back on the 2.0 reboot show in 2021, but has been off NXT TV now for well over a year.

He remains in the WWE developmental systen, instead appearing in Evolve rather than NXT.

Members of WWE management and the Performance Center training team have described Jensen as a 1980s wrestler in a 25 year old’s body and have been full of praise for him, which begs the question as to why he’s working in Evolve and not NXT.

He may just not be an ideal fit for the fast paced nature of NXT TV, and could be someone who goes from NXT to Evolve to the main roster instead of taking the more traditional Evolve to NXT to main roster path.

4. Kale Dixon

Similar to Brooks Jensen, Kale Dixon is someone who has received plenty of praise for his work, even being compared to Randy Orton in the ring.

Again, that makes it a bit confusing as to why he’s never really been featured on NXT TV other than the brief revamp of Chase U that never really went anywhere.

Dixon actually has a brief main roster history – he was squashed by Bron Breakker in 2024, who proceeded to injure him with the steel steps in one of the most talked about moments of that time period.

Potentially like Jensen, Dixon might be seen as someone who doesn’t necessarily need to be on NXT TV and could just go from Evolve to the main roster.

3. PJ Vasa

PJ Vasa has been featured across all seasons of WWE LFG and more recently in and around the title picture in Evolve.

She also made an appearance on Main Event recently, which doesn’t mean she’s due for a call-up, but it does at least mean main roster personnel are aware of her and have seen her in action.

Vasa has already had some interactions with Jacob Fatu and, given her Samoan descent, has long been linked with the Bloodline.

Considering the fierce competition in the NXT women’s division, if WWE decides it wants some female involvement in the Bloodline storyline, she may be fast tracked up.

2. Harlem Lewis

Harlem Lewis is the new WWE Evolve Champion after defeating Aaron Rourke for the title a few weeks ago.

Lewis has been with WWE for years now but hasn’t debuted on NXT TV – instead picking up his experience on LFG, Evolve, and even going on an excursion to Japan for Pro Wrestling NOAH.

He’s another name who’s had a couple of outings on Main Event recently, and the fact it’s been more than one in a short space of time seems to suggest officials wanted a bit more of a look at him.

Given his experience in the system outside of NXT, he could be someone who skips the brand entirely and just forces his way onto the main roster.

1. Elijah Holyfield

Elijah Holyfield, the son of boxing legend Evander Holyfield, is another name who’s been in the WWE developmental system for some time now but hasn’t made his NXT debut.

Holyfield seemed like a favorite to win season two of WWE LFG but an injury took him out of the running – since then, he’s been working on Evolve and also LFG season three where he formed a tag team with Apollo Crews (LFG was taped way in advance before Crews was released by WWE).

More notably, he was recently transferred over to AAA in Mexico, where he’ll likely debut some time soon.

He could potentially end up going from AAA straight to the main roster after spending some time there, leaving NXT out of his path completely.
