Ahead of the NXT Heatwave 2026 event, Lucha Libre AAA will hold their first premium live event back in the United States this year.

AAA Ola de Calor will take place from Edinburg, Texas this Sunday, August 30.

With titles on the line and things reaching a fever pitch, whoever walks out with a win will come out of this show with a ton of momentum heading into TripleMania 34.

Here are our potential spoilers for the WWE AAA Ola de Calor 2026 results.

AAA Latin American Championship Fatal Four Way: El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr. vs. La Parka vs. El Fiscal vs. Damian Priest

El Hijo del Vikingo suffered a torn ACL injury that caused him to vacate the AAA Latin American Championship.

To crown a new champion, AAA GM Rey Mysterio announced that there will be a four-way to determine the vacant titleholder.

Over the past few weeks, El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr., El Fiscal and La Parka all won matches to qualify for this title bout.

Then, Omos went one-on-one with Galeno, which ended in a no contest. However, the post match saw Omos brutally assault Galeno with steel steps.

Trying to stop this rampage, Mysterio confronted Omos who proceeded to attack the authority figure.

This forced Mysterio to have no choice but to suspend “The Nigerian Giant,” while Galeno was out indefinitely due to the attack.

This led Mysterio to announce that Damian Priest had qualified for the last spot in the AAA Latin American Championship four-way.

Moving the match from TripleMania 34 to this Sunday’s Ola de Calor, a new champion will be crowned with Parka feeling like he has some momentum after his recent match with Penta on WWE Raw.

AAA World Cruiserweight Championship #1 Contender’s Triple Threat: Jack Cartwheel vs. Mini Vikingo vs. Nathan Frazer

Over the past few months, Rey Fenix has firmly established himself as one of the most prominent stars in Lucha Libre AAA.

Whether it be in AAA or WWE TV, Fenix has been regularly defending the AAA World Cruiserweight Championship on a consistent basis.

Wanting to give him a tough test at next month’s TripleMania 34, AAA has announced a three-way number one contender’s match for the Ola de Calor event.

Jack Cartwheel, Mini Vikingo and Nathan Frazer should deliver a high end, fast paced triple threat match.

Looking at the field of competitors, this could truly deliver an unpredictable result on the card.

After his recent momentum, Cartwheel should have enough to get by Mini Vikingo and Frazer to become the new number one contender.

AAA Reina de Reinas Championship Gauntlet Match

Flammer has held the AAA Reina de Reinas Championship for a record-breaking 1,105 days.

At AAA Verano de Escandalo Week 3, Flammer defeated Lady Shani and La Catalina to retain her gold.

Ahead of AAA TripleMania 34, it looked like Flammer would have no challenger for her title.

However, AAA General Manager Rey Mysterio has announced a Gauntlet match to determine the number one contender for Flammer at TripleMania.

Considering the list of talent that have fallen short against Flammer, there should be no shortage of potential contenders.

Ever since arriving in AAA back in April, Catalina has been focused in on Flammer’s gold.

After being denied a win in the triple threat, this feels like the best chance for Catalina to earn her one-on-one opportunity at Flammer come TripleMania.

AAA World Tag Team Championships: The War Raiders (Erik & Ivar) (c) vs. Los Americanos (Bravo & Rayo Americano)

 

The War Raiders have been dominant sitting on top of the AAA tag team division.

Now holding the AAA World Tag Team Championships for the past three months, Erik and Ivar made their way to defend the gold on WWE TV as of late.

Then on the August 22 episode of AAA on FOX, Los Americanos defeated The LWO, Psycho Circus and Money Machine to become the number one contenders for the AAA World Tag Team Championships.

Now, Bravo and Rayo Americano move on to challenge The War Raiders for the gold at Ola de Calor.

While The War Raiders have taken down every challenge ahead of them, things may be different against Bravo and Rayo.

With their recent momentum and El Grande set to challenge Dominik Mysterio for the AAA Mega Title, a Los Americanos win may indicate big things in the masked trio’s future draped in all of the gold.

Penta, Rey Fenix & Dragon Lee vs. Perros Del Mal (Daga, Angel & Berto)

On the June 20 edition of AAA on FOX, Perros Del Mal made their return to the company for the first time in years.

OG member Daga has aligned himself with Karmen Petrovic and Los Garza to reform this legendary faction.

Over the past few months, fans have seen Perros running roughshod over anyone in AAA.

Then on the August 15 episode of AAA on FOX, Perros Del Mal confronted Penta and made an offer for him to rejoin the stable to help against Roman Reigns if he wins the number one contender’s tournament.

Later in the show, Penta called out Bronco Nima as needing to prove himself to Perros. That led to Penta picking up a win over Nima and Perros going on to excommunicate Bronco from their group.

After Penta turned them down, Perros Del Mal also jumped him as well until Rey Fenix and Dragon Lee made the save and made a challenge for a trios match at AAA Ola de Calor.

This huge all star trios match should prove to settle things between these two sides.

While Perros need to continue their momentum, it feels unlikely that Penta, Fenix and Lee will lose being main roster stars on this special event card.
