Following a new set of talent cuts in NXT, a new report has revealed some frustration regarding the recent WWE releases.
On May 3, Fightful Select reported a new set of talent cuts from the NXT brand with a total of 11 wrestlers were released.
Recent reports indicated that the names released were talent that the company felt weren’t progressing enough in their training.
Fightful Select (subscription required) provided an update, noting that Friday’s releases were a common topic of conversation among talent backstage.
The report notes that some frustration at some of the cuts prevalent among the roster.
The names released were Drew Gulak, Gable Steveson, Julian Baldi, Trey Bearhill, Keyshawn Leflore, Valentina Feroz, Emma Diaz, Kiyah Saint, Ezekiel Balogun, Vlad Pavlenko and Darrell Mason.
