Former AEW Star Planning To Open A Wrestling School AEW

A former AEW star is planning to open a wrestling school.

Despite its rather short timespan, All Elite Wrestling has already seen a number of stars who have gone on to have further success in the wrestling business.

From Cody Rhodes skyrocketing up the WWE ladder to Alan Angels now making a name for himself on IMPACT Wrestling, various stars have reached higher heights and new ventures upon leaving AEW.

In the latest example of this, Fuego Del Sol, who’s AEW contract expired on July 1, announced that he has begun the process of opening a wrestling school in Oklahoma. He wrote a Facebook post to make the announcement and followed with a tweet, saying:

Tried to talk myself out of it. Convinced myself I wasn’t qualified yet, but looking at the options in my state I realized I have a ton of knowledge to pass on and how big of a help I could be. With the proper curriculum and mentorship from successful trainers, why not do it.

Del Sol rose to prominence through his scrappy performances in losses before being offered a contract on the very first episode of AEW Rampage in 2021.

Fuego Del Sol’s post notes that he has begun preparing a business plan and a proper three-month beginners course for a Fuego Dojo in Oklahoma. Congratulations to Fuego from us at WrestleTalk!
