Giulia WWE Status Update Ahead Of NXT

The latest on Giulia’s WWE status following her appearance at NXT Stand & Deliver ahead of tonight’s NXT show.

Former World of Stardom Champion Giulia was shown on camera at the NXT Stand & Deliver event on Saturday, where she appeared in the crowd ahead of the NXT Women’s Championship match between Lyra Valkyria and Roxanne Perez.

Giulia was also present at WrestleMania 40 alongside former Stardom owner Rossy Ogawa, with the two sporting ‘performer’ badges.

Rossy has since returned to Japan following WrestleMania, but Giulia remains in the United States, and we now have an update on her status ahead of tonight’s NXT show.

Per Fightful Select (subscription required), Giulia has agreed to join WWE officially, with her set to finish out her remaining dates, including time in Rossy Ogawa’s upcoming new promotion.

As for negotiations, Giulia was offered more money from WWE than AEW, with WWE having more interest in her than AEW.

William Regal was also said to have played a key role in negotiations between her and the company, with Rossy also being an important factor in the signing.

As for when she may appear in NXT, the belief is that she could start at ‘any time’.

In regards to Stand & Deliver, Giulia was rushed to her seat at ringside under a cloak, with her said to have been overwhelmed by the positive reaction from the crowd.
