How To Watch Lost AEW Footage After Thunderstorm Causes Technical Issues During Match AEW

Find out what you missed during the AEW Women’s World Championship match on AEW Battle of the Belts VII that was dropped from the live feed.

With thunderstorms tonight in Calgary, Alberta, Canada and a special three hour live edition of AEW programming, there was a technical difficulty that caused fans some issues.

With an apparent satellite issue due to the poor weather causing a feed outage, many fans were left without seeing the final moments of Toni Storm defending her AEW Women’s World Championship against Taya Valkyrie.

Certainly cutting out at an inopportune moment – as challenger Valkyrie had just delivered a thunderous hip check move into Storm’s face in the corner of the ring) -fans were left wondering what was going on.

While the feed went out, then to commercial for some, it cut back to a few seconds of Julia Hart’s match last week from AEW Collision, before returning to the show with the AEW Women’s Title match already having concluded.

Dr. Martha Hart and Tony Khan came out on stage to present Willow Nightingale and Ricky Starks with their Owen Hart Foundation Cup Tournament Championship belts and chalices.

The lack of information regarding how the match turned out was at first not acknowledged before after the presentation ceremony, commentary confirmed the result.

Toni Storm retained her AEW Women’s World Championship over Taya Valkyrie at Battle of the Belts VII.

After the main event, a clip of the AEW Women’s World Championship match finish was shown featuring Ruby Soho making an interference, leading to Storm capitalizing to pick up the pinfall victory.

The match will be able to view in full on the TNT app according to AEW on TV on Twitter.
