Huge Steel Cage Match Added To NXT Next Week

A match many people have been clamoring for is Rhea Ripley vs. Mercedes Martinez. Well, fans are going to get it on next week’s NXT.

Tonight on NXT, Ripley challenged Martinez to a match, but not just any match. She challenged her to a Steel Cage Match. Later on in the show, Martinez would appear to accept the challenge next week.

Ripley’s challenge came after last week’s attack. Mercedes attacked Ripley during her tag match with Dakota Kai and Raquel Gonzalez. Ripley got pinned after Martinez pulled her off the apron and slammed her head into the steps.

Also on tonight’s show, Bronson Reed lost to Timothy Thatcher after being attacked by Austin Theory. That match could get added for next week as well.

Another match we should see again in the near future is Isaiah Swerve Scott against Santos Escobar. Scott pinned the Cruiserweight Champion in the 6-man Street Fight.
