Identity Of Another New WWE El Grande Americano Confirmed

Yet another WWE star has seemingly taken on the role of El Grande Americano during tonight’s July 28 episode of Raw in Detroit.

Chad Gable, who had been the initial man under the El Grande Americano mask, recently underwent surgery and was ruled out of action for at least a few months.

In Gable’s absence, Ludwig Kaiser began portraying El Grande Americano instead, including an appearance for AAA in Mexico this past weekend that showed him to be very popular with the Mexican fans.

On tonight’s Raw, LWO members Joaquin Wilde and Cruz Del Toro – who had been at odds with both the Gable and Kaiser versions of Americano – challenged Finn Balor and JD McDonagh for the World Tag Team Championship.

During the match, Kaiser came out and took it to the LWO, but Dragon Lee showed up to fight him off.

However, that wasn’t the end, as another man in a different mask appeared and cost the LWO the match, causing Balor and McDonagh to retain.

The identity of the newest Americano figure is clearly Pete Dunne, who, along with tag team partner Tyler Bate, has been absent from WWE TV since April aside from matches on YouTube show Main Event.

Given the different look, it’s unclear if this is actually ‘another new El Grande Americano’ or if Dunne’s new masked persona will have an entirely different name.

If he is in fact trying to portray Americano, it’ll effictively be an Englishman pretending to be a German pretending to be an American pretending to be a Mexican.

El Grande Americano is still technically the WWE Speed Champion, although it was the Gable version who originally won the title back in early May.
