Identity Of AEW Dynamite ‘Leatherface’ Revealed AEW

The man behind the mask on last night’s episode of AEW Dynamite (August 17) during the Texas Chainsaw Massacre Death Match has been revealed.

After watching the AEW Dynamite bloodbath known as the ‘Texas Chainsaw Massacre Death Match’ between Jeff Jarrett and Jeff Hardy, clearly only one question was on your mind.

Who was the man under the ‘Leatherface’ mask that chased Karen Jarrett with a chainsaw?!

According to a new report from Fightful Select, the identity of who was under the ‘Leatherface’ mask terrorizing Jeff Jarrett’s beloved during last night’s wild match has now been uncovered.

The person under the mask was Dean Alexander who has had 36 matches in AEW since March 2021, which were all on AEW Dark or Elevation.

Alexander was a trainee at Cody Rhodes and QT Marshall’s Nightmare Factory school.

His most recent AEW match was in February 2023 which was a loss to Peter Avalon.

While the Texas Chainsaw Massacre Death Match has been criticised by plenty of fans, it ultimately was for a good cause with all of the profits (including the over-$100k sponsorship purse for featuring the Texas Chainsaw Masscare match in conjunction with the upcoming video game release) will go to the Maui Food Bank.

Elsewhere, an AEW pair is offering some limited edition merch with 100% of the royalties from the shirt going to the Maui Strong Fund. The Young Bucks have a limited edition Hawaiian themed shirt available for sale on ShopAEW.
