An IMPACT Wrestling star says “if the money is right, I’d fight Brock Lesnar.”
Joe Hendry has become one of the fastest rising stars to step foot in an IMPACT Wrestling ring in recent memory.
Re-debuting for the company at Bound For Glory 2022, Hendry has risen through the ranks and is the current IMPACT Digital Media Champion.
In a new interview for Tru Heel Heat Wrestling, Joe Hendry was asked about his amateur wrestling background and how it differs from professional wrestling. He answered:
“Well I actually started as a pro wrestler and I was a pro wrestler for a couple of years and I got tired of losing every match.”
“And I just thought ‘well I’ll just put myself in a position where i can legitimately whip everyone’. So unfortunately for the roster unless your name is Brock Lesnar, you know I feel pretty confident against anyone.”
After the interviewer stated he would still take Hendry in a fight against Brock Lesnar, Joe said:
“Hey, if the money was right, I’d fight Brock Lesnar. There you go, there’s your headline.”
Joe Hendry will defend the IMPACT Wrestling Digital Media Championship against Moose at tonight’s IMPACT Hard To Kill pay-per-view.
Also on the lineup, Josh Alexander will defend the IMPACT World Title against Bully Ray in a Full Metal Mayhem match and Jordynne Grace vs. Mickie James in a Knockouts World Title vs. Mickie’s career match.
