WWE held it’s most recent tryouts at the WWE Performance Center, with several independent wrestling stars being set to attend the tryouts.

One of the more prominent names set for a tryout was OVW star Hollyhood Haley J, who recently starred as one of the most prominently featured talents on the recent OVW Netflix series ‘The Wrestlers’.

Haley J was one of the names who was announced as being set to attend the tryouts, but that didn’t end up being the case.

Per Fightful Select (Subscription required), Haley J was pulled from the WWE tryouts due to reasons relating to medical paperwork, per sources from both WWE and OVW.

However, WWE is said to be hopeful that they can get her in the future.

Haley J has also previously made several appearances for AEW as well as her work in OVW, primarily featuring on the Dark and Dark: Elevation shows before their cancellation.

It has not yet been revealed who, if anyone, from the tryouts ended up being signed.

One other interesting name at the tryouts was fourth generation wrestler Brogan Finlay, son of WWE legend Dave ‘Fit’ Finlay.
