Internal ‘Raving’ Over WWE Star’s Recent Performance

There has been some internal raving over the performance of a WWE SmackDown star during a recent major segment.

The LWO was the centre of a dramatic segment to open last week’s SmackDown show, when Santos Escobar betrayed his mentor Rey Mysterio.

The turn came following Crown Jewel, when Santos Escobar left a pair of brass knuckles on the apron, allowing Logan Paul to use them to knockout Rey and capture the United States Championship.

The newest member of the LWO, Carlito, pointed out Escobar’s error on SmackDown, which resulted in the dramatic turn for Santos.

During the attack, Escobar was confronted by Joaquin Wilde, Cruz Del Toro and Zelina Vega of the LWO, with Zelina berating Santos for the turn, including bringing herself to tears.

Zelina’s acting didn’t go unnoticed by those within the company, per PWInsider, there have been ‘quite a few’ people internally who have ‘raved’ about Vega’s performance and emotional work during the segment.

Zelina has done some acting work before her time in WWE, as well as acting as AJ Lee in the Fighting With My Family movie.

Rey is expected to be out of action for 6-8 weeks following the attack due to a legitimate injury, which you can learn more about here.
