An IWGP World Heavyweight Championship match and more have now been made official for this Sunday’s AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door pay-per-view event.
On tonight’s show, Kazuchika Okada made his AEW debut appearance, helping Adam Page fight off Jay White and Adam Cole following his win over Silas Young.
It was then announced that the four men will face off in a four-way for the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship at Forbidden Door.
Also announced for the show is an eight-man tag team match, pitting the Young Bucks and Hikuleo & El Phantasmo of Bullet Club against Sting, Darby Allin, Shingo Takagi and Hiromu Takahashi.
Also announced is an eight-man tag team match for the Buy-In, pitting Billy Gunn, the Gunn Club and Max Caster against NJPW dojo members Yuya Uemura, Kevin Knight, The DKC and Alex Coughlin.
