An IWGP United States Championship match is now set for next week’s episode of AEW Dynamite.
Earlier this week following his NJPW Cup Final match, Cobb called out Kenny Omega, telling him that he would be in St. Louis next week, challenging him to an IWGP United States Championship match in St Louis.
Tony Khan has since taken to Twitter, officially announcing the match for next week’s episode of AEW Dynamite.
The show will also feature the in-ring return of Adam Cole for the first time since last year’s Forbidden Door event, when he takes on Daniel Garcia of the Jericho Appreciation Society.
The new AEW All-Access show will premiere following next week’s Dynamite show on TBS.
Tony Khan has promised more matches for Dynamite being announced on this week’s episode of AEW Rampage, set to air tonight.
Omega is coming into the match one week removed from his incredible clash with El Hijo Del Vikingo on last week’s Dynamite.
