Steve-O was notably absent from this year’s Royal Rumble event when the stars of Jackass Forever accompanied Johnny Knoxville to his match.
The Jackass Forever crew was a huge part of the show with Steve-O in St. Louis for the event. However, he revealed that a positive COVID test made him have to leave early.
In a recent vlog, Steve-O stated that he had to leave the Rumble and also had to miss the premiere of Jackass Forever in Los Angeles.
The Jackass star said:
Now, keep in mind, we’ve been getting tested for COVID every single day, no matter what we’re doing, and we’re always negative, until I show up at the Royal Rumble and they say I was positive. So now I gotta leave the Royal Rumble immediately and I’m stuck in St. Louis. I can’t go into the airport. I can’t get on an airplane. So what do I do? I get my tour bus driver to come pick me up. We’re parked in a parking lot in Missouri. Turns out getting the bus wrapped with my face all over it drew some attention. So we drove all the way home to LA where the premiere is happening without me.
Steve-O is no stranger to the WWE ring, having made an appearance in 2007 for a beating at the hands of Umaga.
As previously noted, WWE is interested in using Johnny Knoxville for more appearances and have continued his rivalry with Sami Zayn on television.
