Former NXT Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton has commented on the potential arrival of Jade Cargill in WWE following her departure from AEW.
Cargill was recently removed from the AEW website following the expiration of her contract and was reportedly in Orlando for WWE earlier this week.
It was reported that WWE has creative plans for Cargill on the main roster that, according to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer, are “high priority.”
Meltzer would go on to state that Cargill in WWE is “earmarked for real stuff”, as opposed to just being another person on the roster.
Speaking to WrestleNews.co, Tiffany Stratton was asked whether she would welcome Cargill would be welcomed into WWE with open arms, saying:
“Yeah, for sure. Bring her on in. I don’t know much about her. But I’ve seen photos of her and she’s beautiful.
“But yeah, I’m not sure what’s really going on there. So I guess we’ll see.”
During a recent interview, Tony Khan opened up about Cargill’s departure, saying:
“As far as Jade goes, I can’t really comment on that except to say that Jade’s been a great wrestler for AEW and certainly always welcome in AEW, you know, could always be somebody we would always love to work with here in AEW.”
Cargill’s last opponent in AEW was Kris Statlander who reflected on her opponent by saying “she’s going to be a star, no matter what.”
