**Update: WWE has officially announced that Jeff Hardy will battle Damian Priest on the show**
We now have a potential spoiler on who will be accepting Damian Priest’s United States Championship Open Challenge on tonight’s (September 13) Raw show.
Per PWInsider, the word making rounds backstage at Raw is the Jeff Hardy will be the man to answer the call and challenge the Archer of Infamy for his title.
Plans may well change before the show goes on air, as Drew McIntyre was set to challenge Priest in his last open challenge, which ended up being a three-way with both McIntyre and Sheamus on the actual show.
Fans were outraged at Jeff Hardy’s involvement in the 24/7 Championship chase last week, and this week he appears to be chasing a different piece of gold.
