Jey Uso recruited a mystery tag team partner for today’s March 24 episode of WWE Raw in Glasgow, Scotland.
Over the past few weeks, as well as contending with his WrestleMania opponent GUNTHER, Jey Uso has also been at odds with the A-Town Down Under tag team of Grayson Waller and Austin Theory.
Jey had beaten Waller and Theory in singles matches over the past couple of weeks, with his win over Theory only taking a few seconds.
A tag match was booked for today’s show with Jey’s partner being advertised as a mystery to be revealed on the day.
While he was making his entrance for the match, Jey was joined on the ramp by his mystery partner – his brother Jimmy Uso.
Michael Cole on commentary pointed out that this is the first the Usos have teamed together in a tag match since they beat Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa at WWE Money in the Bank 2023.
Jimmy was introduced to Jey’s pre-Mania storyline a couple of SmackDowns ago when he exchanged words with GUNTHER, who said he’s just as immature as Jey is for thinking he has a chance at winning the World Heavyweight Championship.
The Usos picked up the win today against A-Town Down Under after their 1D finisher, with Jey pinning Austin Theory.
GUNTHER showed up after the match and took out Jimmy but when he got the upper hand on Jey, Jimmy retured to the ring with a steel chair to chase GUNTHER away.
Jey had started a flurry of a comeback on GUNTHER but slipped over in the middle of the ring, so they’re turning his botched dive last week into something of a story.
