Jim Cornette has responded after being offered an invitation to tonight’s November 1 episode of AEW Dynamite.

Tonight’s Dynamite takes place at the KFC Yum! Center in Cornette’s hometown of Louisville, Kentucky.

Jeff Jarrett said on his podcast that he’d love to have Cornette at the show – a quote that evidently made its way to Cornette himself.

Cornette, who has become renowned for heavily criticizing AEW when he deems it necessary to do so, tweeted:

I appreciate the invitation from @RealJeffJarrett to attend the @AEW TV taping in Louisville tomorrow–I tried hard to make it work, but I couldn’t find another person in town going so we could split the 2 for 1 ticket offer. But maybe they can find another ratings ploy in time.

Despite Cornette never holding anything back when reviewing AEW shows on his podcasts, Tony Khan has said in the past that Cornette is “probably the person I’ve learned the most about the wrestling business from”.

Among the matches set for Dynamite tonight are Bullet Club Gold vs MJF & three partners of MJF’s choosing, Orange Cassidy vs Claudio Castagnoli, Chris Jericho & Kenny Omega vs Matt Menard & Angelo Parker, and Hikaru Shida vs Willow Nightingale.

Tony Khan has also said he has an “important announcement” to make on tonight’s show.
