AEW announcer Jim Ross has admitted that he’s anxious to see how Tony Khan handles the creative challenge of booking the All Out pay-per-view.
AEW will return to the NOW Arena in Chicago on September 4 for All Out, one of AEW’s biggest shows of the year.
On his Grillin’ JR podcast ahead of the August 24 edition of Dynamite, Jim Ross argued that these few weeks leading up to the pay-per-view will be Tony Khan’s most challenging time as a booker.
Ross said:
“I don’t know that as a booker, with the last week and the next few weeks leading through to the pay-per-view, that (Tony Khan) has anything challenging him bigger than that, because what do you do?
“I’m anxious to see what the brain trust comes up with as far as creative is concerned. I have confidence that they’ll do well, but they have a lot of options. They have a lot of ways to go.”
On the August 24 show, official World Champion CM Punk and interim World Champion Jon Moxley met in an Undisputed AEW World Title bout. To the surprise of many, Moxley defeated Punk in a matter of minutes to walk out with the gold.
