Some of you may be wondering why you should care. Well, WWE’s WrestleMania weekend will start on Friday 5th April with NXT Takeover: New York, followed by the Hall of Fame Ceremony the following night.
With Cena advertising an appearance in New York during WrestleMania weekend, some fans have begun speculating that this is a slight indication that Cena will be having a match, or at least making an appearance at WrestleMania 35 on April 7th.
Cena was rumoured to be facing a lurking Lars Sullivan at the biggest event of the year. However, Sullivan suffered several panic attacks before he was supposed to make his debut and the match between the two now appears to be off.
Cena is currently filming a movie which is supposed to be finished by the start of April, and now with the news that ‘Big Match John’ will be in New York during WrestleMania weekend, fans can assume that this makes the chances of a WrestleMania appearance more likely.
