John Cena Returns In Segment With Grayson Waller At WWE Money In The Bank 2023 WWE

While fans were expecting some surprises at tonight’s WWE Money in the Bank 2023, they ended up with one they perhaps didn’t see coming!

John Cena made a surprising appearance at WWE Money in the Bank 2023 with a very important message.

Telling the crowd that the ‘decision makers’ think that London can be a hostile environment and at times, even ‘try to take over the show’, Cena reminded that fans “are the show”.

Going on to say that his purpose for being there is to try and bring WrestleMania to London, Cena wanted to offer fans a chance to prove the people in the back wrong.

However, the fans’ wild cheers were interrupted as the theme of Grayson Waller hit as he came out to the ring to attempt banter with the London crowd who were not impressed.

But in the best possible way because they really hated him!

He specifically vouched for his own homeland of Australia to host WrestleMania, certainly not England.

The duo would go on to have both a verbal and physical exchange, and in the end Cena delivered a big Attitude Adjustment on Grayson Waller.

Waller is also set to host the Grayson Waller Effect with the returning Edge on next Friday’s SmackDown at Madison Square Garden, so it’ll have been quite the week for him.

Cena’s appearance comes after fans may have expected another surprise appearance from Brock Lesnar after Cody Rhodes beat Dominik Mysterio, but Lesnar was nowhere to be seen.

Earlier in the show, Mysterio’s fellow Judgment Day stablemate Damian Priest captured the Men’s Money in the Bank Ladder match victory by grabbing the briefcase.

Another return that did take place today was that of Drew McIntyre, who confronted Intercontinental Champion GUNTHER.
