16-time WWE World Champion John Cena has been announced for the upcoming Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem movie.
More details on the cast for the CG animated theatrical release were revealed at the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards.
It was there where it was revealed that John Cena will voice the mutant rhinoceros Rocksteady.
Other notable names announced for the film include Jackie Chan who will voice Splinter, Paul Rudd as Mondo Gecko, and Post Malone as Ray Fillet.
Micah Abbey, Shamon Brown Jr, Nicolas Cantu and Brady Noon will voice Ninja Turtles Donatello, Michelangelo, Leonardo and Raphael respectively.
Cena will make his WWE return on Monday’s (March 6) edition of WWE Raw. It has been heavily speculated that this appearance will set up a WrestleMania 39 program for Cena, after numerous teases regarding a showdown with US Champion Austin Theory.
The Hollywood star last wrestled on the December 30, 2022 edition of SmackDown, keeping his streak of wrestling for WWE at least once every year since 2002 alive.
