Johnny Gargano Update Amid DIY Reunion Rumors

An update has emerged on Johnny Gargano, amid rumors about a potential ‘DIY’ WWE reunion with Tommaso Ciampa.

In recent weeks, Ciampa has been searching for his former teammate, launching a #FindJonnyG campaign on social media.

Gargano made his presence known on Saturday (September 9), when he returned to the ring at the Uniondale WWE house show.

Gargano battled Omos at the event, ultimately losing to the Nigerian giant.

This bout was Gargano’s first match in over a month, with the former NXT Champion previously wrestling Omos at a house show on July 30.

The popular star most recently wrestled on TV at the May 15 edition of Raw, competing in the Intercontinental Title #1 contender’s battle royal bout.

The Raw star hasn’t competed in singles action on WWE TV since defeating Grayson Waller at NXT Stand & Deliver on April 1.

Ciampa’s search for Gargano has fuelled rumors that WWE plans to reunite the duo on TV.
