Jon Moxley has said that he got fined during the AEW WrestleDream 2023 pay-per-view event on Sunday, October 1.
During the pre-show for the pay-per-view, a match took place between Claudio Castagnoli and Josh Barnett with Jon Moxley on commentary.
While on commentary, Moxley said that this wasn’t even the pay-per-view yet, fans were “getting this s**t for free”.
Later in the night, Moxley returned to commentary for the match on the main show between Ricky Starks and Wheeler Yuta.
During his second commentary outing, Moxley said he was fined for his commentary on the pre-show.
Hilariously, during the Yuta vs Starks match, Moxley told Yuta to make Starks “pay for that s**t”. He was also on commentary for Bryan Danielson and Zack Sabre JR and ended up swearing multiple times.
There are probably different rules for the pre-show livestream and the pay-per-view itself as it was far from the first time someone had used language like that on pay-per-view, but still, classic Moxley.
Moxley hasn’t wrestled since suffering a concussion on AEW Dynamite on September 20. Stay updated with WrestleDream news at this link.
