Jon Moxley is both the AEW World Champion and the IWGP US Champion, so people have been wondering if he’ll be at NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 15.
Speaking on the media call ahead of tomorrow’s Winter Is Coming edition of Dynamite, AEW President and CEO Tony Khan confirmed that Moxley will NOT be at Wrestle Kingdom.
Moxley has reigned as IWGP US Champion since Wrestle Kingdom 14, but hasn’t wrestled for NJPW since February due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
He defends the AEW World Championship against Kenny Omega on tomorrow night’s AEW Dynamite in what is being billed as – and legitimately probably is – the biggest match in Dynamite history.
