Judgment Day Recruits New Member On WWE Raw

Tonight’s episode of WWE Raw (September 11) started with Main Event Jey Uso making an entrance to a thunderous crowd response.

However before the recent Raw draftee got too many words out, he was interrupted by Kevin Owens.

Kevin Owens came to the ring, noting that he isn’t one to judge given his track record of copious betrayals but Jey Uso couldn’t gain his trust or respect so easily.

In fact according to KO, other than Cody Rhodes, there were very few in the locker room who wanted Jey Uso there at all!

Kevin Owens remained more skeptical than Sami Zayn, noting that Uso was going to need to demonstrate he wasn’t the same scumbag as he was when he was running with the Bloodline.

The pair were then interrupted by Judgment Day, with Finn Balor, Damian Priest and Dominik Mysterio all joining Uso and KO in the ring.

But they were actually there with a compelling argument for Jey Uso: an open offer to join the Judgment Day.

With Balor and Priest working to recruit Uso, they played it cool while making an attempt to highlight the benefits of membership in their stable.

With Priest noting that it was okay to be hesitant since Dominik had repeatedly denied them at first as well, now he’s at his best.

When Priest wanted to know where Sami Zayn was as they were scheduled to have a match, Owens revealed Zayn wasn’t at Raw but that he was and he was ready to fight.

Jey interjected that if KO wanted him to prove that he was able to be trusted, he had a solution: an impromptu match of Jey Uso and Kevin Owens teaming together versus Judgment Day.

When KO and Uso agreed, a brawl ensued and Dirty Dom was the first to fall as Jey immediately Super Kicked him.

Michael Cole on commentary wondered aloud, “can this alliance get along?” as WWE Raw went to the first commercial break of the night.

In the end after an ‘accidental’ Super Kick from Uso hit Owens instead of the intended target, Owens took a big coup de grâce from Finn Balor who picked up the pinfall victory.
